Captain Smart to host morning show on Angel TV after leaving Multimedia

Media personality, Captain Smart, formerly of Multimedia, is reported to have joined Angel TV.
Captain Smart will be the station’s morning show host from June 2020.
For this reason, Angel TV is said to have halted its morning show in preparation for Smart to take over at the agreed date.

His new post is said to rake the presenter thousands of cedis and other work benefits compared to what he enjoyed at Multimedia.
This was gathered by YEN.com.gh in a report sighted on Ghanacelebrities.com.
According to the report, the agreement between Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) and Captain Smart was signed three years ago, however, there were a few issues waiting to be sorted out.
The news confirms the many rumours that Smart had left his post at the Multimedia Group.

Captain Smart’s move to Angel FM makes it the second time another Multimedia worker has joined the company.
Ohema Woyeje resigned in 2019 and joined Angel TV later.
Vim Lady also left Multimedia and is now with the Despite Group.

There is said to be an uneasy calm at Multimedia following situations where salaries are delayed due to financial constraints.
The company recently laid off key workers including Naa Ashorkor Mensah Doku, who left GHOne TV to join Multimedia in 2017.
In an earlier report by YEN.com.gh, it was established that about 100 more workers have been affected and are expected to resign from Multimedia by the end of May 2020.
