Controversial pastor Daniel Obinim, who calls himself an angel, is still behind bars as at the time this report was being filed on Wednesday, May 20, 2020.
This is because Obinim has not been able to meet the GHC100,000 bail requirement.
He was charged with forgery and publication of fake news and was thus granted that bail with 3 sureties with one person to be justified.
However, it appears there is no one capable or willing to bail him and for that matter, he is reported to still be in police custody.
This was reportedly confirmed by DSP Julian Obeng, Head of Public Affairs of CID in a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Ghanacelebrities.com.
Obinim was arrested on the evening of Tuesday, May 19, 2020.
This follows earlier report that he was arrested but feigned a heart attack and so he was admitted at the hospital.
In an earlier report about his arrest, the police said aside from the two charges against him, Obinim was also assisting in investigations for some accusations levelled against him.
The controversial pastor was accused by Kennedy Agyapong of sleeping with other women behind his wife.
He dropped the identities of 13 women he claimed to be Obinim’s girlfriends.
These women included actress Benedicta Gafah, and the former wife of Osebo, Nana Aba Anamoah’s baby daddy.
In another report by YEN.com.gh, Obinim confirmed in a leaked phone conversation that he has slept with many women behind his wife in their 16 years of marriage.
