Gospel musician Patience Nyarko says it is an insult to the kingdom of God for anyone to choose Joe Mettle as Ghana’s best gospel musician.
She maintains that the Bo Noo Ni singer does nothing original for the kind of attention he is receiving from Ghanaians.
According to Nyarko, there are better gospel musicians like herself, Diana Hamilton, and Joyce Blessing who write their own songs.
This is contained in a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Peacefmonline.com.
Telling the cause of her feud with Joe Mettle, Nyarko said she was angered by a comment made by one radio presenter that he would choose Joe Mettle to represent Ghana on the international scene.
According to her, that is a big insult to the other gospel musicians and the kingdom of God as well.
Nyarko mentioned the name of the radio presenter as O.B. Nartey of Vision 1 FM in Accra.
Meanwhile, Patience Nyarko has said Joe Mettle only samples Pentecost songs and is not original like the aforementioned gospel musicians.
She also said Mettle is receiving all the attention he is receiving because he sings in English.
“If the church of Pentecost of Methodist should warn that nobody should sing their songs, what then happens to Joe Mettle,” Patience Nyarko quizzed.
She had earlier walked out on a presenter who has questioned her about Joe Mettle in a recent report by YEN.com.gh.
