COVID-19: Ghana sees more recoveries but caseload shoots up to 6,486
Ghana’s COVID-19 cases continue to rise according to data by the Ghana Health Service (GHS).

The latest information from the GHS site indicates that about 217 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in the country, bringing the case count to 6,486.

Also 53 more COVID-19 patients have recovered after testing negative, putting the total number of recoveries in Ghana at 1,951.
The death toll still stands at 31.
The Greater Accra Region is still leading the chart with 4,699 cases, followed by the Ashanti and Central Regions with 988 and 287 cases respectively.
