Graduate pays emotional tribute to late dad; has the internet in tears

A stunning young lady, who was only identified as Sarah, graduated recently and she could not celebrate the day with her late dad.

However, she managed to find a way to let her father know she succeeded and it touched thousands of hearts.

Sarah shared three photos - one with her as a little girl walking hand-in-hand with her dad, another similar image with Sarah as a young woman with her father and the last one saw her walking alone.

She captioned the emotional images:

"I did it dad."

The post went viral, gathering over 269 000 reactions and it tweeps in tears.

Twitter user, @G7Zezar, commented:

"This hit home. Your dad would be so proud of you queen! Keep stunning!"

Another tweep, @corpseish, added:

"I don’t know you but I know your dad is extremely proud of you and your accomplishments. Keep making him proud. Congrats!"

Social media user, @bamanova1, wrote:

Another inspiring graduate, a 25-year-old, has set a new record as the youngest person to obtain a Doctor of Laws (LLD) degree from the University of Pretoria.

The young academic completed his doctoral thesis in January of this year.

Marko Svicevic obtained completed his LLB degree in 2017 and registered for an LLM in 2018, while working as a research associate.
