Stonebwoy details relationship with Shatta Wale; says they are not friends yet

Stonebwoy has said that though he settled his beef with Shatta Wale, he cannot count him as a friend now.

He said friendship takes time to grow and as of now, he cannot call Shatta Wale a close friend.

Stonebwoy made this submission in an interview monitored by YEN.com.gh on Hitz FM during an interview with Merqury Quaye on Friday, May 22, 2020.

He was asked about their relationship so far after settling their beef which has run for many years in the industry.

Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale were not seeing eye to eye because they battled over who is the champion of Dancehall.

While Stonebwoy claimed to be lyrically and musically better than Shatta Wale, he in turn, threatened to murder Stonewboy musically and end his career.

The beef went on till the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), where Stonebwoy pulled a gun and threatened to shoot Shatta Wale.

This was because the Taking Over hitmaker had mounted the stage where Stonebwoy was making a statement after an award.

The BHIM camp interpreted Shatta Wale’s coming as an attack, prompting Stonebwoy to pull his gun.

The case is still in court.

However, the two were reunited by Ghanaian businessman Kofi Abban, and since then, they have related well with each other.

Shatta Wale recently promoted Stonebwoy’s new album Anloga Junction, on social media.

His mother had also said they are cousins in real life.
