A devout Muslim woman has been captured kneeling at a demolished mosque in Jamestown to offer her afternoon prayers.
The woman would not allow the situation to take away her religious routine, and from the photo, she looked unperturbed about her surroundings.
It was shared by one Twitter user Francis Kokoroko.

The photo has inspired many Muslims on social media, and they have wished her well.

Meanwhile, the demolishing exercise was carried out to make way for a proposed port complex at Jamestown, British Accra.
In a recent publication by YEN.com.gh, the residents ‘fought’ the government over the demolishing exercise.
They claim they had not been given enough notice to relocate.
Others say they have nowhere going, thus, they opposed the exercise which went on regardless.
