Man marries 'lioness' who nursed him through darkest nights while ill

- A brave cancer survivor, Chris Wesseling, married the love of his life who nursed him back to health

Chris Wesseling posted a moving message on Twitter of how he married the 'lioness' who nursed him back to health while he fought cancer.

He posted a beautiful picture of their wedding:

He also thanked those close to him for their support while he went through the darkest part of his life.

"We are grateful for all of the love and support not only for the beautiful wedding but throughout the raging rollercoaster ride of the past few years. Thank you."

The fairytale story gets better, Chris revealed through a Twitter post that his son, Lincoln, had been born.

He also took the opportunity to praise another cancer survivor who revealed that she married the man of her dreams.

"Welcome to the survivor club, @so__uneek! You are a badass and your husband is a king. What a wonderful story ❤️ How about that, @LakishaJackson."
