Ashaiman residents cross get transported in wheelbarrow and trucks due to flood (Video)

- Some residents of Ashaiman are getting transported in wheelbarrows and on truck

- This is due to the heavy downpour in some parts of Accra on Saturday, May 30, 2020

- This has served as a sort of business to the truck pushers who were captured very excited

Some residents of Ashaiman have had to resort to wheelbarrows and truck to cross over from one place to the other.

In a video seen by YEN.com.gh, some of the residents were captured rushing to get into the wheelbarrow and onto the truck.

One grown-up man, for instance, was seen quickly dashing into the wheelbarrow before another person gets on board.

One woman was also seen comfortably resting on the truck to be pushed away to her destination.

The truck and wheelbarrow pushers were also excited as they called on patrons to get on board.

This has come about following the downpour recorded in some parts of Accra.

The rains were heavy and fell for about four hours.

Some people have reacted to the development.

Gra, for instance, wondered if the government was to blame for this:

gra_ve12: “So what’s the actual cause of these prolonged and hereditary hardships ? Are we to blame the government or our very selves”?

Nana observed that the street was hot:

nana_poku_860: “The street make hot pass.”

Babies also left her comment:

69realbabies: "Ghana we dey."

Meanwhile, photos trending on social media show that not only Ashaiman was flooded.

Places like Kasoa, and some part of Tema were also flooded as a result of the heavy downpour.
