Ghanaian dancehall sensation, Stonebwoy, has finally spoken after a song he featured in with Mr. Drew was deleted from YouTube over copyright infringement.
The Ashaiman-born singer is certainly not happy with how things have turned out as he wants his name to be left out of the saga.
In a live interview monitored by YEN.com.gh on Hitz FM, Stonebwoy expressed his frustration over the fact that the song Eat broke the copyright rules as the original song was done by Rotimi.
According to Stonebwoy, he contacted Mr. Drew via Instagram when he saw his post about the new song he was about to release.
Stonebwoy then stressed that he contacted Mr. Drew to give him a verse on his track.
The Bawasaba crooner indicated that while recording the song in his house, his young brother told him that the song belonged to someone so they played the original song and he realized it was true.
Stonebwoy in expressing his frustration said Mr. Drew told him his song was a cover of the original song so he went ahead and gave him his verse.
After they shot a video for the song, Stonebwoy said Mr. Drew's management failed to contact him before putting it out.
However, in the course of the interview, Andy Dosty played Mr. Drew's voice saying he told Stonebwoy (via Instagram chat) it was someone's song but the latter said 'you can get a big song out of a song.'

Stonebwoy, who wasn't enthused with Mr. Drew's statement, asked him to produce the said chat which Mr. Drew later apologized.
Meanwhile, Mr. Drew's management, Highly Spiritual, has issued a statement taking the blame for the mishap.
According to the statement signed by Kaywa, there was a miscommunication between their team and that of Rotimi which led to the video being pulled down.
