Asante Kotoko captain, Felix Annan, has warmed hearts after he recounted how he met his now-wedded wife Francisca Yeboah on social media in 2009.
As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, Annan tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend in a private ceremony in January 2020.
The gorgeous ceremony was held on Saturday, January 18, 2020, in the Ahafo Region, Dormaa with friends and loved ones gracing the nuptial of Annan and his bride.
In spite of the challenges of modern trends coupled with keeping up with work, societal and family demands, the Black Stars goalkeeper insists that it is never wrong to use social media with regards to choosing a life partner.

While he admits that social media has its excesses, he indicates that it can be useful when put to good use.
''I met my wife on Facebook in 2009. I was so open with her that she took a train from Italy to Switzerland to meet me when I was on a training tour with,'' Annan told Opemsuo Radio.
After their first interaction on Facebook, Annan said they started being friends but it was until six years later that they started talking about marriage.
''Social media is good but it depends on how you use it. For me, it has been good because my wife has done so many sacrifices.''
Just recently, YEN.com.ghreported that a young man identified as John Hughes is desperately rushing for the bone of his bone to marry.
The 27-year-old young man indicated in a recent post on social media that he is searching for a ‘‘decent northern lady'' to make a family with.
