Experienced broadcaster Nana Yaa Brefo has spoken for the first time after joining Dr Kwaku Oteng's Angel FM/TV in Accra following her resignation from Adom TV.

As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, Yaa Brefo who was co-host of Adom TV's morning show, Badwam, resigned from the station two weeks ago.

After some speculations about her future, she has been unveiled as one of the new presenters for during the launch of Angel FM in Accra on, Monday, June 1, 2020.

From what YEN.com.gh gathered, Yaa Brefo will be more linked to the ABN's TV station, Angel TV, and will have the role of head of news and current affairs.

Her unveiling came as a surprise as she had been highly tipped to move to Despite Media's UTV and Peace FM where she actually started her journalism career.

Moments after her unveiling, Yaa Brefo has spoken and given reasons as to why she decided to join Angel FM/TV.

According to her, she chose to join Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) because she believes it is the right place to be as she wanted a new challenge.

She stated that just like she helped Adom TV to grow into a big brand, she loved the challenge of helping the team at ABN to bring up Angel FM/TV.

In another video, Nana Yaa Brefo revealed that she had a lot of very good offers but she settled on ABN because she wanted to join the team of angels.

She also urged all the people who love her for what she does to stay glued to Angel FM/TV and expect more from her.

Meanwhile, Nana Yaa Brefo's former colleague at Adom FM Captain Smart, who joined Angel FM barely 24 hours after from resigning from Adom was among those unveiled.

Captain Smart was unveiled as the host of the station's morning show, Anopa Bofour, and the director of operations of the station.
