Samuel Eto'o helped to save my football career - Samuel Inkoom shares story

Ghanaian defender, Samuel Inkoom has praised Cameroonian retired professional footballer, Samuel Eto’o for saving his career.

According to Samuel Inkoom at a time when his career at Boavista in Portugal was hitting the rocks, Samuel Eto’o offered him a deal with his team, Antalyaspor.

In an interview on Joy Sports and monitored by YEN.com.gh, Inkoom said when things got rough Eto'o called him on the phone that he needs him to play in his team, Antalyaspor.

"He’s such an amazing guy. I was in Boavista, Portugal at that time and I received a call from him and he said ‘hey listen, I want you in my team’. I said if you are there and Eto’o calls you that he needs you then you need to know that you have something that is amazing,” Samuel Inkoom said.

He added that Eto'o did all the necessary arrangements for him at Antalyaspor and they talked about the personal terms and the transfer fee among others.

"At the end of the day, it was a great feeling to play with him. He is a living legend and I was so happy to play with him,” he noted.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that renowned Ghanaian comedian and actor Funny Face has blamed himself for the two failed marriages he has gone through.

According to Funny Face, his own foolishness and obsession for women with big behinds led to the destruction of both of his marriages.
