Ghanaian songstress Becca has come under serious fire for posting some ethnocentric comments on Twitter.
Becca had stated that Africans and Ghanaians, in general, are hypocrites for advocating against racism in the US over the death of George Floyd.
In a post sighted by YEN.com.gh, Becca criticized people refusing for marrying fellow Africans because they are not from their hometown, country or church.
But the post did not go down well with netizens who also shared their thoughts on her comments.
"You are here in Africa fighting and advocating racism in the US but in your church/home, you are criticizing and judging someone for marrying a fellow African because they are not from your hometown/country/church... Damn Hypocrites!!!, " Becca tweeted.
Ghanaian Twitter users stated that Becca was wrong for comparing marriage to racism.
A Twitter user with the handle 'thearmah' said he does not see the sense in Becca comparing marriage and racism.
Another accused Becca of bleaching her skin color from black to white.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that a beautiful lady named Maame has married her Prince Charming, Albert, over the weekend in a star-studded event amid the outbreak of coronavirus.
Maame is said to have met the groom on her first day at work in 2015 as a new intern with Stanbic Bank.
She said she told her friends jokingly that she has found her husband.
