Massive trouble looms as Police fire shots at 'Aluta Boys' base in Tamale (video)

Police officers from the Northern Regional Command in a raid today [Saturday] stormed the Aluta Boys base near the Regional House of Chiefs in Tamale.

Thee armed police officers reportedly went to the neighbourhood to effect arrest of thugs believed to be behind recent tensions in the area.

The Police officers were compelled to fire warning shots to disperse the youth.

Earlier in 2020, reports surfaced that the youth from the Dakpema Naa and Bugu Lana palaces started attacking each other with stones and other objects but with the help of the military and police, the situation was put under control.

The misunderstanding started over Chieftaincy issues at the Bugu Lana palace in Tamale.

In a latest video sighted by YEN.com.gh, multiple guns shots were fired by police officer who had stormed the Aluta Boys base near the Regional House of Chiefs in Tamale to restore calm.

Some men on motorbikes in the vicinity could be seen taking off for safety.

The Police officer reportedly arrested some people amid the chaotic scenes.

In other news, YEN.com.ghreported that a heart-warming video has emerged of Ghanaian actor turned politician, John Dumelo, directing traffic at the East Legon Adjiringanor junction stretch.

The parliamentary candidate for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) at the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency decided on the admirable gesture to help reduce traffic on that stretch of the road.

In a video being widely circulated online, the popular actor is seen directing traffic at the East Legon Adjiringanor junction.

Some people who were touched by Dumelo's admirable gesture showered massive accolades on the actor/politician.

“He has done well, people should vote for him,” one lady could be heard saying.
