A photo showing Bishop Daniel Obinim’s days as a professional footballer before becoming a pastor has surfaced on the internet.

Obinim was captured together with his team members and they were clad in a green jersey.

The photo was sighted by YEN.com.gh on the Facebook timeline of sports personality Saddick Obama.

In the caption, he indicated that a former Kototo player, Stephen Oduro, has once said that Obinim was his playmate.

According to Oduro, the now popular pastor was an excellent footballer and a great winger.

However, it is clear Obinim’s football profession did not last any longer as he switched to become a pastor as he is known today.

Meanwhile, Obinim has been trended in the news for all sorts of controversies.

MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has accused him of having many girlfriends despite being a pastor.

Obinim confessed to that and said he cannot deny sleeping with other women behind his wife Florence in their 16 years of marriage.
