The Charterhouse CEO noted that her outfit is ensuring to put all necessary measures in place in order that the event will come off with strict adherence to the health and safety protocols.

She stated that there is a challenge in putting together logistics together for the event and not being sure of expected revenue.

For instance, in normal times, we will have been able to sell up to 4,000 tickets in VGMA-related events, but it is not so now,” she explained.

Mrs. Ayoade added that this year’s event may not be as glamorous and captivating as the previous ones especially with the presence of the worldwide pandemic.

Her announcement would surely bring excitement to musicians and music lovers.

Many of them had given up on the 2020 edition of the annual event.

Meanwhile, Stonebwoy had said earlier that he won the Artiste of the Year Award at the 2019 VGMA.

He revealed that he spent a sum of 50,000 cedis on voting alone.

That award was withheld due to an issue that arose between him and Shatta Wale.
