Woman receives wad of cash from total stranger, cries for joy

- An unnamed good Samaritan has eased the financial stress of an old woman who hawks food

- After giving her the money, the woman hugged him in an emotional show of appreciation

- The man said the money is meant for the woman to support her business

A trending video online has shown how a food hawker was blessed by a total stranger with a cash gift.

In the clip, the good Samaritan stopped the woman as if he wanted to buy some food from her. After the woman brought down her food cooler, the unnamed man started asking her some questions.

One of the things he asked her was if there was anyone who supports her in the business, a question the woman replied no to, saying God is her only support.

After some moment, the man handed her a bunch of naira notes, telling her that today is her lucky day and she should use the money as she deems fit.

The old woman stood in great amazement for several seconds before she went ahead to hug the man as she cried for joy.
