Godfather of hiplife Reggie Rockstone, without hesitation, has replied Shatta Wale after the latter claimed he (Rockstone) is poor.

The veteran rapper has released a video which is a direct reply to the Ayoo hitmaker.

On Saturday, June 14, 2020, Shatta Wale appeared on UTV's United Showbiz and he took a swipe at Ghanaian artistes.

According to Shatta Wale, he is the richest Ghanaians artiste and his colleagues are all poor.

He said the poor artistes included Reggie Rockstone saying he failed to teach the young musicians how to make money from music.

Following Shatta Wale's rants, Reggie Rockstone took to Instagram to drop a freestyle replying Shatta Wale.

In the freestyle he titles ‘Billionaire Spirit’, Reggie Rockstone rapped about being a billionaire in spirit adding that kids have been envying him. “I am the 50 plus-year-old, these kids been envying, ya’ll stuck with me like MTN,” he said in the song.

The video was prefixed with Shatta Wale making his comment before dropping his bars. Watch the freestyle and tell us what you think.

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Praye Tietia, a member of the famous Praye music trio has blasted Shatta Wale for saying that all hiplife artistes in Ghana are poor.

Praye Tietia said he doesn’t have a problem with Shatta Wale bragging about his riches but he shouldn't disrespect the hiplife legends.

In an Instgram post sighted by YEN.com.gh, Praye Tietia who is popularly known as 'Cartel Big J' advised Shatta Wale to respect the people who sacrificed to pave the way and build the music industry for him and others to join.
