The Ayawaso West Assembly has stopped actor John Dumelo from dredging a gutter in the constituency.
The actor had embarked on that social intervention for his people to help fight floods in the area.
However, the Assembly stopped him, perhaps, for political reasons.

Some people are not happy with the development and have blasted the Assembly.
Kofi Duho, for instance, said the Assembly was not being responsible:

Meanwhile, Dumelo had earlier supported the people of the constituency with donations during the lockdown time.
He also constructed water points for them to get free water.
Dumelo’s son was also in the news recently when a video of him skillfully playing a piano dropped.
The actor has said that even if he loses the 2020 election, he won't give up.
