This has been revealed in a news report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Radio Rainbow's official website after an interview was conducted with the president of the academy.

As a result, many of the ladies have had no other source of income, forcing some of them to go into the trotro mate business.

James Asuming also indicates that some of the player and their parents have beseeched the academy to take back the players as life has become highly difficult.

”The situation is dire and some of them are now a burden on their parents. Some parents have called asking us to have them return but I told them camping activities have not resumed," the academy president said.

He further added that "some of the players are now ‘trotro mates’. They do this to survive the harsh realities the coronavirus has brought on us. The COVID-19 is dangerous.”

According to Asuming, the ladies used to receive three-square meals along with other benefits when things were normal but all of that has vanished into thin air.

In another report, photos of a young gentleman named Charles Sogli in Ghana have surfaced online and it is said that his height is 7 foot 6 inches which makes him taller than some of the tallest basketball players.

A photo of him in comparison to a man named Yaw Pare has shown the extent of the boy's extraordinary height given that Yaw himself is very tall.

Although the age of Charles Sogli has not been disclosed, many have said that he needs to join a major basketball team in the world, at all costs.
