Sarkodie begs fans not to compare him to M.anifest following new release

Award-winning rapper Sarkodie has asked his fans to stop comparing him to M.anifest.

Sarkodie's comments come after he released a song titled 'Brown Paper' in which he featured rapper M.anifest for the first time.

Since the two started 'beefing' in 2016, fans of both Sarkodie and M.anifest have been comparing their rap styles to arrive at who is the best between the two.

The release of the 'Brown Paper' song has reignited that debate on social media.

But in a tweet sighted by YEN.com.gh, Sarkodie begged his fans to stop the comparison and pay attention to the lyrics of the song.

He tweeted:

“I understand Rap fans feeling the need to rate bars and lyrics on this record but on God this ain’t about all of that … we in serious times and the message is very important… big up @manifestive #BrownPaperBag”

Since the release of the song, several industry players have praised both Sarkodie and M.anifest for coming together to do the song.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that an emotional throwback video of late Neat FM presenter and marketer for the Despite Media Group, Kwadwo Wiafe, having fun with award-winning actress Nana Ama McBrown has gone viral on social media.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Kwadwo Wiafe and McBrown were seen raising their glasses for a toast while the Managing Director of the Despite Media Group, Fadda Dickson joined.

Kwadwo Wiafe was so full of life as he cracked jokes with McBrown and his boss.
