- MP for Tema East Constituency of the Greater Accra Region, Nii Kwartei Titus Glover, has clinched a win in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primaries

- Hon. Titus Glover floored Benjamin Ashittey to retain the seat for Tema East Constituency

- He won with 522 votes

Member of Parliament of Tema East of the Greater Accra Region, Nii Kwartei Titus Glover, has floored his opponent, Benjamin Ashittey, to retain the seat for the constituency.

Hon. Nii Kwartei Titus Glover thrashed Benjamin Ashittey to maintain the seat for Tema East Constituency.

He polled 522 votes while his contender, had 223 votes.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the incumbent Member of Parliament for Tema West Constituency of the Greater Accra Region, Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah, has retained his seat for the area.

The Deputy Minister of trade floored his opponents, Keku Armquasia Armuzuah and Kwesi Poku Bosompem, during the ruling New Patriotic Party’s primaries held [today], Saturday, June 20, 2020

Also, Dakoa Newman has won the seat for Okaikoi South Constituency of the Greater Accra Region in the ongoing governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primaries.

The only female candidate in the contest for the Okaikoi South seat floored her male opponents to clinch the win. Dakoa contested the seat with incumbent Member of Parliament, Hon. Ahmed Arthur and Nana Fredua.
