Breaking: Ghana records 10,074 recoveries out of 13,717 coronavirus cases

- The Ghana Health Service has confirmed that 10, 074 people have recovered from the coronavirus

- This follows new discharged protocols for symptomatic and asymptomatic coronavirus patients

- Ghana's active coronavirus cases now stand at 3, 558 with 85 persons confirmed dead

The Ghana Health Service has confirmed [today], Saturday, June 2020, that 10, 074 people have recovered from the deadly coronavirus following new discharged protocols.

The review of discharged protocols covers patients who do not display symptoms of the coronavirus and patients whose symptoms die down while undergoing treatment.

Patients who are asymptomatic are discharged 14 days after their initial positive test.

However, for symptomatic patients, two weeks (14 days) after testing positive, they are discharged after three days if they are without symptoms.

Meanwhile, Ghana's active coronavirus cases now 3, 558 with 85 persons confirmed dead as of Saturday, June 20, 2020.
