Roselyn Yeboah: Young Ghanaian lady bags master's degree from British Columbia University

A young Ghanaian lady by name Roselyn Yeboah has graduated with a master's degree in Materials Engineering from the University of British Columbia in Canada.

According to Roselyn, in a narration sighted by YEN.com.gh on her LinkedIn handle, her graduation took place on June 17, 2020, three years after she was granted full tuition by a professor at the university that she had never met.

Roselyn recalls that one Professor David Dreisinger took a chance on her and gave her the opportunity to do the master's under his supervision with full funding.

The professor had never met Roselyn but only acted based on a recommendation he received from Dr Kodjo Afewu who believed in Roselyn's dreams and understood her challenges.

Roselyn who comes from Koforidua in Ghana studied BSc in Minerals engineering at the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa from 2011 to 2015.

Roselyn Yeboah's story shows how powerful it is to lend helping hands to people who genuinely need assistance, as that can transform their life immensely.

In another interesting report by YEN.com.gh, former president of the Republic of Ghana, Flight Lieutenant Jerry John Rawlings, has said on camera that he bitterly regrets not taking exercising a little more seriously.

JJ Rawlings, as he affectionately called, made the rather thought-provoking statement during a meetup with Nana Aba Anamoah in a video sighted by YEN.com.gh on the Facebook handle of GHOne TV.

Nana Aba, who celebrated her birthday just some days earlier, was very excited for the former president and decided to give him an unscripted interview.
