A gentleman who has been paralyzed for many years has taken a bold act of faith that has gone viral on social media by deciding to walk after praying to God.

The awe-inspiring video was sighted by YEN.com.gh on the Facebook handle of Abingo SLAY KING as it went viral and got several thousands of reactions online.

In the video, the man who hitherto had spent many years in the wheelchair said that he prayed to Jesus that he would be able to walk again before his birthday on June 23.

As the date approached, the young man filled with faith in God, was able to take a few steps and decided to exercise himself once more prior to June 23.

The video was shared on June 19, as the prayerful man quoted the scripture that said, "He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above what we ask or think," and began to walk.

Although his steps were not smooth and perfect, the man's faith is simply remarkable as he demonstrated during the exercise that took place in the presence of his wife, brother and child.

The reason for his paralysis has not been disclosed. This man of faith is not the only person who has been experiencing health problems.

In an earlier report by YEN.com.gh, former President of the Republic of Ghana, Flight Lieutenant Jerry John Rawlings, has said on camera that he bitterly regrets not taking exercising a little more seriously.

JJ Rawlings, as he affectionately called, made the rather thought-provoking statement during a meetup with Nana Aba Anamoah in a video sighted by YEN.com.gh on the Facebook handle of GHOne TV.

Nana Aba, who celebrated her birthday just some days earlier, was very excited for the former president and decided to give him an unscripted interview.
