A husband who lit up the internet for keeping his pregnant wife company every week outside the hospital, with date nights, has become a new dad.
Robert Conlin touched many for his actions which came as a result of being denied entry into the hospital due to measures taken amidst COVID-19 pandemic.
Good Morning America reported his wife gave birth to a bouncing baby boy, Forest Gace Walter Conlin, on Saturday, June 20, weighing in at four pounds.
Robert said he had to do everything to be there for his son because he did everything to be with them.
"He did everything he could to be my son and I needed to do everything I could to be his father. It's just the greatest gift. The greatest gift on Father's Day to remember for sure," he said after the son was a day to the special day.

Robert's wife, Shona Moeller, gave birth about 70 days after admission to the hospital due to her water breaking prematurely.
The 41-year-old was staying in hospital under medical care to ensure their son was born healthy and to keep him inside for as long as possible before delivery.
