The macho man who beat Kelvynboy at Ashaiman has unremorsefully spoken out about why he carried on such an act.

Speaking in a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, he said Kelvynboy had once spoken disrespectfully about the people of Ashaiman and belittled them.

According to him, the Yawa No Dey singer had said that given his status, Ashaiman is not a place he would perform, adding that he would rather choose to perform at a place where he would even be paid one cedi.

His comment, according to the macho man, meant that Kelvynboy has no respect for the people of Ashaiman, therefore, he also planned a long time ago that he would personally ensure Kelvynboy never performs there.

“He doesn’t respect. In life, you don’t have to spit and take it back from the floor. He said he won’t have anything doing in Ashaiman. He said he will rather go and perform elsewhere and be paid one cedi than get more here.

“Why then did he come here? Should I look on for him to have the programme with Samsung here? If I had not disrupted the programme then not me,” YEN.com.gh heard the macho man complained in the Akan language.

He added that he is ever ready for the police to pick him up and he won’t fail to justify the reasons for his action.

Fans have argued that his explanation is still not enough reason to beat Kelvynboy.

Jenny, for instance, believed so:

jenny_seddy: "Even if he said so, the beatings were not needed. You should have done it by making him leave quietly."

Adjowa also called it "foolish talk":

__adjowa__: "Foolish talk and definitely they won’t do anything to him what a country we live."

She added that God should have mercy:

__adjowa__: "God have mercy because all these isn’t normal hmmmmm I still can’t think far mpo."

Joan wondered why the macho man would take the law into their hands:

jo.an7753: "how can people take the law into their own hands, nonsense."

Meanwhile, Blakk Cedi, Stonebwoy’s former manager has reacted to the development believing that the attack was planned.

He said the matter has been reported to the police and he expects justice to be served.
