South African and American actress Charlize Theron has said that she is not interested in marriage. The 44-years-old actress and producer stated this while talking about why she has never been married.

According to her, the institution of marriage is not important to her. Although unmarried, Charlize has two children Jackson and August, whom she adopted.

The renowned entertainer noted that she has never wanted to get married as it has never been something that's important to her.

Clarifying old reports that she was engaged to her ex-boyfriend Sean Penn, who she dated from 2014 to 2015, the actress described the reports as lies.

Charlize explained that they only dated and it lasted for barely one year before the relationship packed up. According to her, her ex-lover never moved in with her and she was never going to marry him.

When asked if she wants a love life as she could get lonely as a woman, the actress replied by saying that her two children were enough for her.

She stated that her children are the love of her life and her life is filled with them. She noted that she has never been lonely or felt alone.

According to her, her current life doesn't allow room for a romantic relationship to happen. She stated that she does not think she will ever be able to live with someone else again.

Charlize said that a potential lover may have to buy the house next to her as she is not sure if she can deal with having anyone in her space.
