COVID-19 update: Major highlights from Akufo-Addo's 13th address

As part of measures put in place by government to ensure that Ghanaians are duly informed on the right things to do during the COVID-19 pandemic, President Akufo-Addo addresses the nation as and when the need arises.

The addresses which are mostly recorded and televised have taken a particular trend where it is broadcast in the evening.

The president in his latest address on June 28, 2020, which happened to be the 13th, made some very key points.

Meanwhile, President Akufo-Addo announced an extension of the incentives package which health workers are enjoying by an additional three months.

This announcement by the president goes to say that frontline health workers will not pay any taxes for July August and September.

The president made this known in his 13th address to the nation on enhanced measures taken to stop the spread of COVID-19.
