West African country, Ghana, has now recorded a total of 17 741 cases of coronavirus, according to the latest update from the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
In an interaction with the media, the director-general of the GHS, Dr. Patrick Aboagye Kumah, said Ghana has recorded 390 new COVID-19 cases.

On Tuesday, 30 June, the Ghana Health Service said at a press conference in Accra that the country's death toll stands at 112 with 13 268 recoveries.
The GHS further revealed there are currently 4 361 active cases across the country.
Dr. Aboagye stated that 24 patients out of the active cases are in a severe situation, with four of them on ventilators.
Meanwhile, the public has been urged to report early when they show symptoms of the disease.
“We appeal to all to wear the mask and observe social distancing” during the voter registration exercise, he stressed as the electoral exercise takes off Tuesday, June 30.
