At some centres, as seen in the photos, some of the individuals seem to have thrown caution to the wind and decided to gather as they saw the president while at some centres, social distancing was observed.

Ghanaians have as usual flooded the post with their comments.

@Favoured Wings was hopeful that the cluttering by people upon seeing him would not cause the spread of the COVID-19

Your Excellency let's pray your unannounced visit do not spread the covid19 bcoz is very painful to die from a foreign virus when you don't even know how the inside of an aeroplane look like

@Fuseini Sumaila believes more education needs to be done on social distancing.

Splendid Sir. But some of the people in the places visited must be educated on the Social Distancing guidelines. In as much as we have to register, we must also observe the COVID 19 protocols.

@Justice Kpornyo was worried about how people were putting their lives in danger

I feel ashamed as Ghanaian. How can we put citizens lives in danger like this all because of power. It is very very sad.

@Prosper Sammy was worried about his security which he believes was too small.

Not enough security detail around him. He is the president and deserves strict state protection. Anyway great he came out to see how stuffs are going on and it is great. Nana Addo is a great man.
