Superintendent Mike Baah of the anti-human trafficking unit of the CID has disclosed that actress Rosemond Brown, also called Akuapem Poloo, has brazenly ignored the invitation to show up.

Brown had been asked to report at the CID headquarters for questioning following a nude photo she shared of herself and her son to mark his birthday.

The CID officer was speaking in a video sighted by YEN.com.gh in an interview on Peace FM.

Superintendent Baah disclosed that Poloo has even refused to answer all calls by the police to her phone, which is actually dangerous for her.

He warned that to avoid complicating her case, Brown should report to the police.

Asked what drastic action would be taken if she fails to show up, Superintendent Baah said, “There are many ways of killing a cat.

He explained the police have many ways to grab Akuapem Poloo, however, he would not want to disclose them on air.

He added, however, that the CID can obtain a Writ of Summons from the court to deal with the situation.

Superintendent Mike warned that wherever she is, Akuapem Poloo should do the right thing.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection has waded into the controversy.

The ministry says it is ready to liaise with the necessary agencies to ensure that the appropriate sanctions are applied to Brown.

It was explained in a statement by the ministry that indecent exposure of a child amount to pornography liable for punishment.
