Dris Wallace, a working mum-of-two from the United States, has said she was fired from her job because her boss was tired of her young kids being around during work calls.

She started working from home in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, while also taking care of her four-year-old daughter Dani and her one-year-old son Dylan.

According to The Sun, she said that her first week working from home was tedious as her demanding job meant "multiple calls, emails and unrealistic expectations".

She said her boss instructed that on business calls with clients he did not want to hear the kids in the background.

Dris said the company fired her and lied that it was due to low revenue occasioned by the coronavirus pandemic.
