The Ghana Health Service, however, put the number of recoveries/discharges at 14,330 and active cases at 4,491 as of July 3, 2020.
No new deaths have been confirmed thus retaining Ghana’s death count at 117.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that a prominent Ghanaian surgeon at Trust Hospital in Accra, Dr. Richard Kisser, has been confirmed dead.
The renowned surgeon died of the dreaded coronavirus. In a statement sighted by YEN.com.gh, the hospital confirmed he passed away on Thursday, 2 July.
The hospital management informed staff about the passing of the renowned consultant surgeon saying: “We regret to inform all staff of the passing of our consultant surgeon, Dr. Richard Kisser.''
