“Very warm discussions as always”, he added.
Mr. Mahama, however, did not disclose the content of their discussions.
Meanwhile, the NDC leader has also called for “greater protection” for all health workers as majority of them are being hit by the coronavirus.
In a Facebook post to mourn the passing of a Consultant Surgeon at The Trust Hospital, Dr. Richard Kisser, Mr. Mahama said: “We need to ensure greater protection for all our citizens especially the health workers because, without them, the already struggling fight to contain the spread of COVID-19 will be a failure.”
Dr. Kisser died on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at the University of Ghana Medical Centre where he was receiving treatment for COV1D-19 complications.
