A lady simply identified as Deborah has appealed to a mother to come back for her child after abandoning the baby with her in church on Sunday, July 5.

In a video that emerged on social media, Deborah said the mother said she wanted to go buy something and left the baby with her. Deborah said since the woman left, she has not come back for her baby.

The lady said she does not have the wherewithal to take care of the baby, urging the mother to come back for her.

She pleaded: “Mummy baby please come and carry your beautiful child. I’m not that strong to take care of your baby please."

In other news, Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo state has finally met Oluomachi Joseph Opara for the first time after adopting him.

The governor adopted Oluomachi after social media went agog with his melodious voice.

Governor Uzodinma who met his adopted son in church on Sunday, July 5, said the boy reminds him of his life trajectory.

After the meeting, the governor wrote: "Today, I was joined in church by my adopted son, Oluomachi Opara.

"It is our first physical meeting as Father and Son and I am glad to welcome this newest member of my family.

"Oluoma reminds me so much of my life trajectory. At some point in our lives, all we bear in us is just the seed of destiny. How we wake up to the promptings and realization of our dreams remains the greatest miracle of growth only God can explain."

Governor Uzodinma urged Oluomachi to always take the path of prayer both for him and his biological parents.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh also reported that following the selection of Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang as the running mate of the flag-bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), different reactions have surfaced on social media regarding which team would win the 2020 general elections.

There have been comparisons between John Dramani Mahama's running mate and Nana Akufo-Addo's, Mahamudu Bawumia, regarding which would help their flag-bearer better.
