Instagram model and actress, Akuapem Poloo, has spoken the truth behind the news that she was allegedly arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police over her controversial naked photo with her son.
News spread like wildfire on 6 July that Akuapem Poloo had been arrested for sharing an inappropriate photo of herself and her son in which she was completely naked.
But in a photo sighted by YEN.com.gh, Akuapem Poloo said she was never arrested by the police.
According to her, some bloggers started speculating that she had been arrested after they could not reach her on her phone.
She said her phones were off because she was in a meeting that required her to turn off her phone.
Akuapem Poloo, however, commended all her friends and fans who called her to get her side of the story.
However, most of her fans threw in their comments about the entire situation:
@kevin_denn: "Damage control"
@abena_sugar_trust: "Y3da Christ ase o"
@yes_am_abyna_toosweet: "We thank God"
@7753fisca: "eeeiii, I'm against Akuapem Poloofo) yi ha adwene papaapa"
@kayverli: "Ei people dey talk oo"
