Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, has congratulated Professor Naana Opoku-Agyemang on her appointment as the running mate for the NDC’s, John Mahama.

While sending her congratulatory message, Nelson also sought to gently remind Prof Agyemang that she must endeavour to serve the people of Ghana.

She warned that Prof Agyemang must not be like the rest when she wins and should discharge her duties as expected.

Nelson added that she is very aware that Agyemang’s appointment is strategic, and even so, it is a good thing for women.

Meanwhile, Yvonne Nelson had earlier advised Ghanaians not to vote because voting to elect a government would not change their lives in any way.

She is known for powerful comments on Ghana’s politics.

Yvonne is known to have organised a vigil against the then President, John Mahama, over Dumsor.

She was also in the news for praising Mahama when he became an ex-president.

In a related development, the NPP has listed three reasons why Prof Naana Agyeman is a bad choice for a running mate.
