2 KNUST SHS teachers interdicted over death of final year student

- Two teachers of the KNUST Senior High School have been interdicted

- They are the senior housemaster and a housemaster for the Densu house

Two teachers of the KNUST Senior High School have been interdicted over the death of the final year business student of the school.

They are the senior housemaster, Owusu Ansah Seth, and the housemaster for the Densu house, Anthony Awotwe.

The Ashanti Regional Directorate of the GES, said the interdiction of the teachers is to allow for investigations to commence.

“The Senior Housemaster and the Housemaster have also been asked to step aside for investigations to continue," she said.

In a report filed by Citi News, the Region's Director of the GES, Mary Owusu Achiaw said their fate would be determined after investigations

Meanwhile, the father of Leonard, the boy who passed, recounted how he went to the campus before fetching his son to take him to the hospital.

He said the only thing the teachers did was to ask one of the students to get a taxi.

According to him, he has since not heard from the school authorities even after writing to inform them about the death of his son.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the headmistress of the KNUST SHS in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, has been interdicted over the avoidable death of the final year student of the school.

The Headmistress, Felicia Asamoah Dankwa should step aside with immediate effect.
