A burgeoning female rapper in Ghana, Jada Sparkles, has made a rather bizarre promise to God to worship him with all her might if the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is defeated in the upcoming elections.
In a Facebook post sighted by YEN.com.gh, Jada made the supplication to God and promised Him a new convert in herself should the NPP taste electoral defeat come 7 December.
After earlier eulogising President Akufo-Addo and promising to vote for him in the forthcoming general election, the Ghanaian female rapper has made a U-turn.

The reason for her change is not readily known, but she appeared quite serious about her decision.
The post, which has seen a number of reactions on Facebook, read:
"Dear God, please let NPP lose this election. I will become a Christian. Amen."
It was accompanied by some emojis.
Some months ago, the Bossu composer declared her readiness to vote for President Akufo-Addo after one of his COVID-19 updates.
Of particular interest to Jada Sparkles was the fact that during the address to the nation, President Akufo-Addo promised free water and up to 50 percent cuts in electricity bills for Ghanaians following the outbreak of the coronavirus.

That particular post read:
“Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo I love you saaaaaa! Because of your address tonight I go vote for you! #4MoreforNana.”
Just a few months after making this statement, Jada has prayed to God for the NPP and Nana Akufo-Addo to lose the upcoming election and her reasons are quite unclear.
But for one to openly throw such a challenge to God is evidence that, indeed, she is not happy with the Akufo-Addo administration.
