Ghanaians react to Akua Donkor's choice of running mate; say they would be a team of jokers

With just a few months to the general elections in December 2020, a lot of political happenings have gotten a lot of Ghanaians talking.

One such person who makes headlines with any form of news is the Founder and Leader of the Ghana Freedom Party, Akua Donkor.

Ghana woke up to the news of her, stating that she has settled on veteran journalist and lawyer, Adakabre Frimpong Manso as her running mate for the December 2020 elections.

In a native post created by YEN.com.gh to seek opinion, Ghanaians stated whether or not she would win the 2020 polls with her intended running mate.

Ramata simply loved her.

Peace asked her to just go and sleep instead of worrying herself.

In other news, former president John Dramani Mahama has explained the rationale behind the National Democratic Congress (NDC) decision to settle on Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman as the party’s running mate for the 2020 election.

Addressing party members in Accra a day after he announced the former Education Minister as his running mate, the NDC flagbearer said the party has demonstrated its willingness to allow women to participate at the highest level of decision-making in the country.

Mr. Mahama added that Ghana cannot develop and progress with only men at the helm of affairs.
