Two hundred (200) health workers, including 99 medical doctors, appended their signatures to the petition to EC boss, Jean Mensa.

Many have raised concerns about the voter registration exercise in the wake of the pandemic.

The EC, however, maintains that it will not suspend the exercise and has promised to enforce social distancing.

However, a section of the public appears not enthused by the idea and have taken to social media to make their concerns known.

The GMA also said four of its members have died from the virus.

In a statement to mourn their departed colleagues, the association said the loss was a big blow to the fraternity.
