Last week, pandemonium broke out at the Accra Girls Senior High School after news broke of 6 students contracting the coronavirus.
The students in their bid to express their fear of being kept off campus, demonstrated demanding to be sent back home to their parents,
Meanwhile, scores of parents on hearing the news thronged the school premises to demand the school authorities to release their wards to them.
The refusal of the school authorities to do that caused a lot of the parents to grow furious as they did not understand why the school authorities refused to let them go.
The education ministry, on the other hand, calmed the parents and explained that the situation was being managed quite well.
