- Bishop Charles Agyinasare has admitted that he once mentored Obinim but things did not work out well and that does not make him a fake pastor

- This comes after one Obotan alleged on a TV programme that since Obinim was a mentee of Agyinasare and has been proven to be fake, his mentor must be fake as well

- According to Agyinasare, he chose to reply to this critique because, these days, one is considered guilty until proven innocent

Perez Chapel International founder, Bishop Charles Agyinasare, has responded to one Obotan, a herbalist, who has accused the renowned bishop of being a fake pastor.

According to Classfmonline.com, Obotan had alleged on a TV programme that Bishop Daniel Obinim of the International God's Way Church was a mentee of Agyinasare, which makes the leader of Perez Chapel International a fake.

Obotan explained that since Obinim has been exposed by lawmaker, Kennedy Agyapong, as a pastor who is not genuine, it shows that his mentor was the one who trained him on how to fake.

On 12 July, Agyinasare explained the relationship between himself and Obinim, stating that he mentored Obinim but it did not work just as Jesus trained Judas who later betrayed him.

Agyinasare said:

“Obinim was my mentee but it didn’t work; a good father can have a bad child,"

Agyinasare further explained that:

“Jesus trained Judas – I am not comparing myself to Jesus, He was a perfect God and perfect man – but Jesus trained Judas and Judas became a traitor. Did it make Jesus a traitor?”

Furthermore, the respected bishop indicated that he is not known for replying to critics but these days you are declared guilty till you prove your innocence, which has pushed him to redeem his image.
