The NIDCOM chairman in a post shared on her verified Twitter page on Friday, June 19, noted that the young man must face the full wrath of the law.

According to Dabiri-Erewa, fraudsters like Hushpuppi are responsible for ruining the image of Nigerians who work multiple jobs abroad.

"While many Nigs abroad are working 3..4 jobs to make ends meet fraudsters like Ramoni Igbalode are spoiling their image. The law must take its full course," her tweet read.

One follower who criticized Hushpuppi while reacting to Dabiri-Erewa's post said: “The disgusting part of it all is 1. The dude flaunted the ill-gotten proceeds at the expense of the victims. 2. Average Nigerian youths want to be like him consequently involving in yahoo. 3. The dude had no respect for human dignity in his talk on social media etc.”
