Menaye Donkor, the wife of Ghanaian international footballer, Sulley Muntari, has revealed why they never held a white wedding after their traditional marriage.
In a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Zionfelix.net, the former beauty queen revealed that her dad was not interested in a white wedding.
She added that her husband’s family respected that decision and did not push to have the wedding.
Menaye added that at the time, Sulley's move to join a new club in the EPL also distorted their plans of having a lavish white wedding which her heart would have desired.
“We did a traditional wedding ceremony and that was what my Dad wanted which is the normal way so Sulley’s family respected that. We never did a white wedding because we all didn’t want to at that moment," Menaye recounted.
“I wanted to but after the traditional wedding, he was moving to another Club in England so relocating and all that was a whole lot and we didn’t want to add up plans for a white wedding,” she revealed.
Menaye further stated: “I think (white wedding) is just a party and not a wedding because if you have already registered your marriage, legally you are his wife. It is just a party and we have parties every day," Menaye concluded.

In a video fast gaining ground on social media, Spendylove screen-recorded the money she sent to one Andrew Kofi Cudjoe, believed to be the real name of Keche Andrew.
The video showed countless transactions ranging from GHc100 to GHc2 000, which she reportedly sent to the musician owing to the fact that they were dating and she was supporting her man.
