2020: Facebook, Apple and 6 others ranked as the most valuable brands

YEN.com.gh has learned that the 2020 list of the most valuable brands in the world has been released by Statista.

The list includes business giants such as Facebook, Amazon, Apple, and Tencent.

It also has Microsoft, VISA, Google, and Alibaba making the top eight global brands.

Per a report by statista.com, Amazon took the top spot as the most valuable brand in world and has an estimated worth of over $400 billion.

It was followed by Apple, which has an estimated worth of over $350 billion. Microsoft took the third spot with a value of over $320 billion.

Google came fourth and was also valued at over $320 billion. It was followed by VISA who registered a worth of almost $190 million.

Alibaba and Tencent also registered about $150 billion and Facebook completed the list with almost the same value.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that MTN has been recognized as the most valuable telecommunications brand in Africa.

The award was given by Brand Finance, a top independent brand valuation consultancy.

Brand Finance explained that MTN’s brand value was boosted by a solid overall performance in light of challenging economic conditions and regulatory challenges in some markets.
