Menaye Donkor, the wife of Ghanaian football star, Sulley Muntari, has heaped praises on her mother-in-law, Hajia Kande.
For many years reports have been rife that the former beauty queen and her mother-in-law are not on good terms.
However, Menaye has refuted those claims stating that Hajia Kande is a lovely lady.

According to her, she met Hajia Kande before getting married to the former AC Milan and Inter Milan football star.
She said:
"She (Hajia Kande) is a lovely lady. I met her before we got married and we really got along well. I don’t know who said that but the talks and speculations are all over, but at the end of the day what is important is the fact that the two being involved are okay."
Menaye and Muntari have been married for six years and they have been blessed with a beautiful son, Jamal.

Meanwhile, Menaye has revealed why they never held a white wedding after their traditional marriage ceremony.
In a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Zionfelix.net, the former beauty queen revealed that her dad was not interested in a white wedding.
She added that her husband’s family respected that decision and did not push to have the wedding.

Menaye added that at the time, Sulley's move to join a new club in the English Premier League also distorted their plans of having a lavish white wedding, which her heart would have desired.
