Several Ghanaians have engaged in a heated debated on whether or not the West African Senior Schools Certificate Examination (WASSCE) should be cancelled for the 2020 batch.
These different opinions were triggered by a question posed by YEN.com.gh that read, "Do you think this year's WASSCE should be cancelled due to COVID-19? Why?"
The COVID-19 outbreak has forced some countries, including Nigeria, to call off the WASSCE for 2020, but the Ghana government has insisted on holding it.
Many people have been airing their views on the issue. Daniel Buudu implied that it has to be held because those advocating for its cancellation want elections to be held:
According to Prince Blinks, the exams need to be cancelled because the same is being done in some advanced countries:
Davies Nabla declared that the government will do what it wants, anyway, so the opinions of the people do not matter:
Kelly Kirby said yes to the cancellation because the students are not in the right mental state to face the exams as they fear contracting COVID-19:
Afe Nyo came along to opine that the exams must be written no matter what:
Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh also reported that the SUAPOLOR of the Se (Shai) Traditional Area, King of Kordiabe-Madaam, His Royal Majesty Drolor Bosso Adamtey I, is also a renowned minister of the Gospel.
According to a short documentary on the life of HRM sighted by YEN.com.gh on the YouTube channel, Damaris Fletcher, the world-renowned Christian leader has three doctorate degrees.
Dr. Kingsley Fletcher, as he is formerly known, founded Life International and Kingsley Fletcher Global in the United States in 1985.
